Warranty

This limited warranty applies to Crock-Pot branded products and is offered by Sunbeam Products, Inc., or by Newell Brands Canada ULC for items purchased in Canada. The warranty is available only to the original end-user buyer and covers Crock-Pot products bought within the United States or Canada. Under normal household use and when the product is cared for according to the brand’s cleaning and operating instructions, the product is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of one year. The warranty period starts on the date of purchase or the date of delivery, whichever comes later.

This warranty is valid only for products purchased directly from Crock-Pot or from sellers that have been officially authorized by the Crock-Pot brand. Because the brand has no control over the condition or handling of products sold through unauthorized retailers, including unauthorized online marketplaces, claims related to those purchases may be denied unless the law restricts such denials. Buyers are encouraged to check seller authorization before making a purchase to ensure warranty eligibility.

Certain types of damage and conditions are not covered under this limited warranty. These exclusions include normal wear and tear, cosmetic imperfections that do not affect performance, and damage resulting from improper use, abuse, neglect, accidents, or failure to follow cleaning and care instructions. Damage caused by using incorrect electrical voltage or current is also excluded. Additionally, the warranty does not apply to products that have been altered, taken apart, or repaired by anyone other than Crock-Pot or an authorized service provider. Damage caused by natural disasters such as fire, floods, hurricanes, or other events beyond human control is not covered. Using the product for commercial purposes or in a way that does not match its intended household use will also void warranty coverage. Loss or theft of the product is excluded as well.

Customers are advised not to attempt repairs or modifications to any electrical or mechanical components of the product. Any defect or damage linked to unauthorized parts or service may result in denial of warranty coverage. The warranty does not apply to routine maintenance or non-warranty service, and the brand disclaims responsibility for damage caused by repairs performed outside authorized service channels.

To start a warranty claim, customers should submit a request through the warranty claim form available on the official Crock-Pot website or contact customer support during standard business hours. Claimants must provide proof of purchase and delivery details showing when and where the product was bought and received. Photographs of the product may also be required to help assess the issue. In some cases, customers may be asked to send the product to Crock-Pot for inspection. If shipping is needed, the customer support team will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number, which must be clearly displayed on the package. Products should not be sent without prior approval. Customers are responsible for shipping the product to Crock-Pot, while return shipping will be covered by the company.

If a product is found to be defective and qualifies under this warranty, Crock-Pot will provide a replacement. If the original model is no longer available, a comparable product currently in production will be given instead. No additional remedies are offered beyond replacement, and liability for damages outside the scope of this warranty is expressly excluded.

There are no warranties beyond those stated here. Any implied warranties, including those related to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the same one-year duration as this warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, so certain provisions may not apply to all customers. This warranty provides specific legal rights, and additional rights may vary depending on location.

This limited warranty replaces any other warranty statements that may appear in product packaging or instruction manuals and is effective as of July 19, 2024. Customers may request a printed copy of this warranty by contacting customer support. Information provided during warranty claims is used internally and handled in accordance with the company’s privacy practices.
